Our Mission
We design outdoor spaces that provide abundantly for human needs while contributing to the biodiversity, ecological health, and unique beauty of the Great Lakes region.
We apply our expertise in food gardening, native plants, and local ecology to select the plants and other design elements that are best suited to your unique goals and site. We strive for simple solutions with big impacts.
With our designs, even a small space can grow nutritious food, attract and support birds and beneficial insects, reduce property maintenance and inputs, add beauty and livable outdoor space, foster community, and support our forests and waters all at once.
Services
All services include a detailed intake interview and site assessment. Our design and consulting offerings include but are not limited to native plant habitat analysis, plant lists, and planting recommendations, edible landscapes, Permaculture/urban homesteading, alternative lawn strategies, deer resistant gardening, and surveys for invasives or edible/useful plants. Small properties and projects welcome, as well as public projects. Please call for quotes.
We would love to talk about your project!
